Have you actually checked what the SFM is "suggesting" ? May have part(s) "flying" i.e no properly constrained
so you're contact are not set up properly or do not occur (wrong face selection for shell elements !). If you are relying on the contact to prevent rigid bodies then you have them and SOL101 crashes. Difficult to say without seeing the model
Hi, read the following about contact in Sol 101 and the chapters above in online documentation. Maybe you can find the reason of your problem there.
Hint: Sometimes an already defined contact definition is not placed in the solution afterwards, check it, please. Best wishes, Michael
