I am doing a post-buckling analysis using SOL 601,106 of NX Nastran 10.
I would like to know how I can get the applied load at each step in which the solver compute the solution in order to make a load-displacement curve to show the snap-through. Since the LDC method (AUTO=2) select the load step size automatically I do not know exactly at which load level the displacements are output.

The load factor is reported for each increment. If you expand the results in the Post Navigator, you will see:
Non-Linear Step 1, xxx.xxx
Non-Linear Step 2, yyy.yyy
Non-Linear Step 3, zzz.zzz
When you have a PostView active, select Create Graph. Set type to "Across Iterations" and the X Axis Display to "Load Factor" to get a graph vs. load factor.
The load factor for each step is also reported in the .f06 file. Search for "L O A D V E C T O R M U L T I P L I E R". The associated displacement is printed immediately following. You can parse this data and paste it into Excel to plot a graph there.
