Changed Behavior for Message Body Window

When going to type a post, the Body window for the message now requires you to position your cursor on the very first 'line' of the window and click to give focus, rather than allowing a click anywhere in the window to give focus. This behavior has changed in the past few weeks, and I would suspect that this was unintentional.

I see this too.....and also "hope" it was unintentional. Robot Indifferent

@Chally72 - Which Browser are you using? I am testing this now and will get back with you if it's a browser issue or a bug.

Thanks!

Re: Changed Behavior for Message Body Window

I have just checked this and in Firefox 33.1 the focus is automatically on the text field and I can just type away.

I think this has always been the case for Firefox.

Re: Changed Behavior for Message Body Window

I just checked (in Chrome Version 38.0.2125.111 m) and it seems better than last time I checked.

I can't just start typing straight away, the text box does not get focus. But it seems I can now click anywhere in the text box to get focus instead of just on the first line.

Re: Changed Behavior for Message Body Window

I am using Chrome 38.0.2125.111 m. No auto focus, and can only click in the top line of the window to give focus.

Internet Explorer has been fixed and now gives autofocus and accepts clicks anywhere in the window to give focus, even though the cursor icon still changes away from the text input symbol while only halfway down the window.
