Access assets and other data

Hi all

We've successfully deployed an app which is working. However, we don't know how to access the actual data via the api, as all the tutorials from the beta aren't working anymore.

Even simple things like the headers aren't working:

app.get('/headers', function(req, res, next) {
token: req.headers["authorization"],
xpath: req.headers["x-forwarded-path"],
xprefix: req.headers["x-forwarded-prefix"],
correlationId: req.headers["correlation_id"]

The headers are not even set.

The next point is, which is the REST api to get all assets, for example?

Hi Martin,

We are yet unable to offer you detailed developer support on this space today. Please take the link below and head over to our experts and open up a support request, our support team is able to even assist in development issues.

Head to this link here and enter either MindApps or MindAccess for a starting.

Hope this helps to get your matter resolved quickly. In the meantime, we would love to hear more about what you are building.

Hi @mboos, were you able to resolve your issue with the support team? I would like to also highlight that you might take a look at the API documentation again, the documentation is updated regularly with all changes to the APIs highlighted. Since the documentation is part of the MindDeveloper offering, I am unfortunately not able to share it with you here.

Hi mboos,

Did you manage to access your asset data via the asset management api? I am trying to do the same but am having trouble.

Best regards,

@mboos and @gburslem,

The easiset way to get familiar with the APIs are by using the swagger UIs.

For example, the one for asset management is:

The screen shot to the right shows you what the swagger ui should look like.

Here you will see all the available controllers, and clicking on them will show you the APIs for each.

In this case, if you want to get to the asset management, you can select the asset-controller

In the screenshot you can see the available APIs listed for the asset-controller.

You can try out each of the APIs from here directly.

For example, if I want to get a list of all my assets, I can use the first API on the list.

Clicking on the api will give you the details and at the bottom you will find a "Try it out!" button.

 If you  click on the botton the api will be run on your tenant and give you the actual response. Here you will be able to see response body and response headers.

I hope this helps!
