SSH access to MS v3 app in production

Experimenter
Experimenter

Hi,

I have a problem connecting via SSH to the MS  app running in production.

I have tried to run

cf allow-space-ssh somespace
cf enable-ssh appname cf ssh appname

and I recieve following error

FAILED
Error opening SSH connection: ssh: handshake failed: ssh: unable to authenticate, attempted methods [none password], no supported methods remain

It's some kind of configuration error, because I have no problem connecting via ssh in Development space.

If it's not fixable, is there a solution how to access PostgresDB directly to run couple of SQL queries to migrate existing app state from MS v2?

Thanks,

Sergii

I would also be interested in this. We do not still have production apps, but the normal documentation for ssh access has worked til now in development.

Is it possible that the space has ssh deactivated and your user does not have rights to enable it? What is the output of:

$ cf space-ssh-allowed <space-name-where-app-lives>
$ cf ssh-enabled <app-name>

I recently learned that it's required to restart your application after enabling ssh, can this be your issue?
