I'm trying to run this component to rough out the rececced side with 4th axis operations. I've got a surface that does not have the side cavities to define the Variable Streamline drive geometry. The two tools that are going to be used are bullnose indexable mills. My problem is that I cannot seem to get a, lets say 4th axis turning like tool path. The table can rotate continuously and can swivel +110/-35 degs. The settings I've used are:
Drive method: Streamline
Projection vector: Normal to Drive
Tool Axis: 4-Axis normal to drive (and I choose the Z axis )
Method is Mill_semi_finish.

variable contour - curve/point drive method, tool axis away from line, proj vec toward line
Another quick one, when I do that drive by curve strategy, the tool sort of follows the part and I want it to hug the circle (to finish the outside surface of the cylindrical face). Is there a setting to make that happen without making a surface to cover the cylindrical area?
