5 Axis Tool Path to Cartesian Coordinates

Creator
Creator
I have an old 5 axis NC program which I have lost the sample part to. I have a rough idea of how the part looks like, but I would like to make some detailed analyses based on the tool paths so I would like to translate the tool path to Cartesian coordinates. Is NX capable of this? I am open to other possible methods of doing this. Thank you.

If you have "old style" CNC programm, without TRAORI,M128 or G43.4 (in this case nc programm use MCS coordinates for XYZ) - you must to remember kinematic of your cnc machine. And dimensions for rotary tables or heads. Then you can recalc mom_pos positions XYZ to cartesian MCS.
I know more better way. Run simulation of your cnc file with 3d material removing and save result as STL...
