Ive checked the cutcom dialog in 5axis zlevel.
It looks like 2D cutcom.
Shouldnt be there 3D cutcom? - In case of tilting.
In case of no tilting, agree, could be 2D cutcom.
Or am I missing something?
Example for 5axis zlevel with tilting, variable tool axis path.

There's no OOTB way to specify what type of cutter comp to use.
I generally have a UDE to the effect of "cutter comp type" where user can specify
- 3D Swarf cutcom
- 3D "ball" cutcom (generally requires contact output)
- All those Siemens 840D variants
In theory you can check mom_operation_type, mom_tool_axis_??, and whether contact output is on, to set a default cutcom type.

- 2D cutcom (RL/RL) - planar, cavity,zlevel..planar based tool path.
- 3D cutcom - (contact vector NXNYNZ with LN, eventually TXTYTZ.) - fixed contour, variable contour.
So I asumed 3D cutcom like in variable contour should be here in "5axis zlevel".
That why I am asking.
And then if you have not contact vector it is not possible to output 3D cutcom (NXNYNZ).
And to use 2D cutcom in 5axis simultaneous - I cant imagine.
I hope that it is clear.
Or do I need som other nc output of 3D cutcom which doesnt need contact vector?
Because I thin there is possibility:
L XYZ ABC RR/RL
Not sure how it works.
Dont want to complicate it.
But it is strange to me. I need some example or advice what to do with it.
(Can somebody show me nc output of 5axis zlevel with that 2D cutcom on or if it works correct?)
