Please generate the operations in the attached file. When the raw material is full, ADAPTIVE_MILLING and VOLUMIL generate the tool path at about 2 minutes. But when IPW is used for the second operations (SEMI_FIN), ADAPTIVE_MILLING made it in about 3 hours since it took about 3 minutes for VOLUMIL to perform the task for identical settings. However ADAPTIVE_MILLING made a far more better tool path compairing to VOLUMIL.
Am I doing something wrong here?
VOLUMIL uses more than 70% of the CPU while ADAPTIVE_MILLING cannot use more than 25%.
send it to gtac, it is poor. cavity can handle that rest machining it in a minute

Try creating a cylinder as geometry and pick that as your stock. When using the automatic bounding box and cylinders in "workpiece" as stock, I have had nothing but problems with generation speed.
The last op in P2 was still taking a lot of time. I let it run for about 20 min and had to kill it. It did not seem to freeze though, the "Pattern creation" numbers kept changing. See if it works better for you.

And I could not send the issue to GTAC. The portal said I have to contact the local distributor first, then they will see if they can solve (which I am sure they can not) then they will contact ...
