This is a preview project so you need to contact the product manager for the details.

@MarkRiefmentioned that you can do this through GTAC too.

I found adaptive milling in the NX 11.0.2 what's new guide, but is this really included in NX 11.0.2?

I have not found it in the regular operation templates.

Re: Adaptive Milling

Adaptive Milling is still preview in NX 11.0.2, for participants in the CAM EAP program.

Hi @MarkRief,

I suppose it is still under preview, since else the appropriate mill_contour templates would have been included in the release.

From the what's new guide I linked to it is not clear that this is still under preview, it lets the user think that it is already released and included in NX 11.0.2.

I can hear the customers complaining, since there is something announced that is not available.

These complaints don't result in a good reputation in my opinion Smiley Sad

I must agree with Stefan.  On July 5th Siemens hosted a Webinar

https://www.plm.automation.siemens.com/global/en/topic/nx-cam-webinars/5940/

One of the topics they discussed was Adaptive Milling.  It sounded like this was a product that was already available and part of the existing software. This will lead to confusion by existing and potential customers.

Re: Adaptive Milling

I am happy to confirm that Adaptive Milling will be released in NX 12 - out of preview.

I already have some machining operations in mind where we could use it and some where we could bring it to its limits Smiley Wink
