CAM-Task-Attributes ???

[ Edited ]

Hello!

Does anyone know, whether it's possible to get the "CAM Task Attributes" form "CAM Task Properties" in the postprocessor? I would like to get it.

Thank you in advance.

Maybe :

MOM_set_attribute

Re: CAM-Task-Attributes ???

When you post-process and enable the review option, does the attribute exist in the review or debug text files created in the folder of the opened part file?

Re: CAM-Task-Attributes ???

All the part and CAM object attributes are available as mom variables. Turn on the review tool and look for mom_attr_*

Re: CAM-Task-Attributes ???

I need the other way. I've declared an attribute in NXCAM and want to read it in PP. The Help shows how to add atributes from PP to NXCAM.

Re: CAM-Task-Attributes ???

The attributes I've declared in NXCAM are not shown in review. Other attributes are shown:

Re: CAM-Task-Attributes ???

Please note: THe attributes are different. The attributes I see in PP are:

The attribute I don't see in PP is:

Re: CAM-Task-Attributes ???

I have some experience for postprocessor with access to all part attributes. When postprocessor start, start my UGOPEN application and read some attributes from prt. Or, if needed atribute empty - PP can create new attribute and save prt with new attributes (special info about part, user, CNC machine shop flor ID, etc., etc.)

Re: CAM-Task-Attributes ???

If you select the NC_PROGRAM node to post-process, the attributes should be visible.

If I remember correctly, only program group attributes of the selected program group are visible not of parents, but you will have to do some testing.
