CSE - CTRANS / UIFR

Hello everybody,

I develop a 5 axes machine in NX9 with the axes X1, Y1, Z1, B1 and C1.

Now I want to do a zero fixture offset with CTRANS or UIFR like :

CTRANS(X,-23.332860808555,Y,0.19077622194288,Z,5.133,C,22.5)

So I get an error, that a frame could not be created. I set C to C1 and it works.

But in which method the frames are created?

Ok, mostly the axes named as C or B and so it works.

Best wishes from Hamburg

Viktor

Hi VikP,

For any axes the system looks at the channel axis names and afterwards to the machine axis names. When this is ok then a frame will be created. X, Y, Z are mapped automatically to the GeoAxes.

Hi Thomas,

ok, thanks.

Is it possible to manipulate the check in the cse drivers?

Re: CSE - CTRANS / UIFR

Write your own CTRANS in MCF/CCF ;-)
