CSE - high tool numbers

Hello,

how can I solve the problem when a customer uses high tool numbers?

The tool parameters in the to_ini are declared as STRING.

The Metacode D is adjusted while the error message:
"Method getArrayElement what called with invalid argument to type"

Hi

I'm pretty sure the 840D has a maximum tool number of 32000.

Re: CSE - high tool numbers

George is right with the maximum of the array TC_DP[no] limit is 32000.

The problem is the data in the ini file need to be adjusted. Our OOTB post also has these limitation, but we suggest to not use bigger numbers.

On the controller the higher number might be the name like:

$TC_TP1[15]=521005
$TC_TP2[15]="UGT0201_088"
$TC_TP8[15]=10
....

What I say is the array has a limit

Thanks for the great help and the advice.

I'll call the tools on the name and the problem is solved.

Thanks and good night!
