Hello everybody,

 

is it possible to use nurbs as the motion type with CSE?

 

The code looks like :

 

SPLX=8.9012 Y29.7546 Z-2.7789 K3X=-0.0457 K2X=-0.467 K1X=1.0615 K3Y=0.1146 K2Y=-0.3197 K1Y=-2.0662 K3Z=-0.3381 K2Z=0.6531 K1Z=-0.5376

Hello!

First of all - Heidenhain not supported NURBS spline, your example is spline like y=Ax**3+Bx**2+Cx+D for each axis XYZ. It possible, I did a same for VERICUT -

And I see some mistake in your records SPLX=, right SPL X Y Z KX.......

I just loaded the out of the box sim01_mill_3ax_tnc_mm and simulated a nurbs path.

What issues are you having?

I saw the same error message when I switch from tool path to machine code simulation. 

I set the operation to Sinumeril Spline output, and used the post from sim01.

Now the syntax is correct, but of course a parsing error.

It seems like there is no interpretation ootb for the Heidenhain spline right now...

Syntax is incorrect now, see a page from Heid Programming Manual in my previous message.

 

You can use CSEPreprocessLine to avoid parser error for SPL word, and - to assign coefficient values for some Q-vars. Then - open new subroutine and calc all intermediate points for spline.

 

It possible.

Hello,

 

with the actual OOTB Parser and TNC Driver spiles are not supported with CSE.
