Re: CSE simulation of rotary axis

it is a HAAS machine .

the C axis is unlimited.

The 5 axis simultaneously RTCP mode is activated by G235 code  (for the need of the simulation it is replaced by G43.4). when this mode is activated, the C axis has a shortcut behavior. the rest of the time are normal behavior.

my problem happens when I switch to shortcut mode to normal mode at the end of RTCP.

I don't know  SetInterpolationMode fonction, I can try that and let you know

regards

Hello,

thanks for the details that makes it more clear.

What is the problem when switch back from shortcut to normal?

Is it the display the value only or does a wrong motion happens?

As far as I know we can not influence the displayed value of the axis as -90 are similar to 270

look at the attached image,

I put a SetJointRotationMode "normal" "C" command in the G49

In any case I have the desired result with the SetInterpolationMode command rather than changing the rotation mode.

it makes much more sense to do that

thank you so much.

I remember that you must avoid changing the rotation mode if the axis value is not zero! Smiley Happy
