Hello everybody,

what can be the reason, that the single step mode doesn't work while using the Syncmanager?

Best wishes,

Define "doesn't work" ;-)

Does it not step to the next line of code?

Does it not move the tool in the display?

Something else?

Also, what NX version?

Thanks for the quick feedback.

I use NX10.03 MP1. If I click on the single step button the simultion goes on till the end (M30)
and doesn't stop on the next line.

Hello Viktor,

I do not have any problems in NX10.0.3MP4. Do you have the issue with a specific machine or is it a general problem?

A single step usually goes also by time, I wonder in your screen shot I see no times with all the events. And as far as I know the single step goes by XTP Event not by NC code. If - for what reason ever all NC code comes with one "Even" that could maybe cause that problems. The way how events and NC code are connected are part of the post.

Thank you very much for your present help.

This problem appears with just this machine. Other multi channel machines work completely fine.

A special feature of this machine is the second channel, which is responsible for the tool change.

This program starts with a M0 stop, because without this stop an error appears (see attached picture).

Though the simulation is done correctly...

Best regards

Viktor

Hello Viktor

The M0 is the probably issue. This will stop the timer in CSE. Is this M0 really necessary for the NC program? Would it be possible to replace the M0 by a wait mark?

Thank you for the solution idea.

I tried to set WAIT marks on different spots, but the error appears every time.

I can't understand why the simulation runs well with the error message.

While using external NC Codes the single step mode works as it should.

Best regards

Viktor

Hello Viktor,

Could you send the data through GTAC, so we can have a look at the situation? Please mention, in the call that it is on my request.
