CSE - to_ini

Hello everybody,

is it possible to set the reading path for the to_ini file?

For example not the working part path, but the C:\Temp\ISV\path?

In NX10.03 MP1 the reference $UGII_CAM_CSE_USER_DIR is not working...

Best wishes from Hamburg,

Viktor

Hi Victor,

the env should work. Make sure you have it like this:

$UGII_CAM_CSE_USER_DIR\subprog\to_ini.ini

Re: CSE - to_ini

Hi Thomas,

thank you for the overview of the to_ini working machanism.

Now we have a customer who works with Teamcenter.

If we take the OOTB simulation_ini.tcl, then a folder named as the CAM-Part is created in C:\Temp like this:

    C:\Temp\CAM-Part\cse_files\subprog

In this folder the to_ini.ini is created and works fine with the CSE. But how works it? Does the CSE get this information from Teamcenter? Where can I customize this option?

Regards, Viktor

Re: CSE - to_ini

Hi Victor,

in case of TC we suggest to use the environment variable to place subprogram and ini files.
The latest OOTB simulation TCL file checks if that env is set and create the to_ini.ini direct on that location.

CSE later looks to the three locations to find ini files and subprograms as usual and independent of managed mode or not.

If the env is not set the ini file is written where the CAM part file is located and in case of TC that is these one shared temp folder.

Hope that helps to clarify

Thomas
