CSE, tools for turret

[ Edited ]

NX9.0.3.4

Help me please! I broken my head.. I dont understand, why turning tools load to turret without rotation. I check all junctions, I expand all examples from OOTB - no results.

Milling tool - no problem.

Re: CSE, tools for turret

For 'parameter' turning tools they get always created internally related to the turning plane. To let the pocket of a turret know how it needs to be rotated to bring the tool in the correct turning orientation is needed to set / define the angle for a pocket. e.g 12 pockets 360° -> pocket 2 30° pocket 3 60° etc. That should do it.

Hope that will help

Re: CSE, tools for turret

Thomas!

Please, open any OOTB example - no any Working Angle. But - WORKING!!!!

Re: CSE, tools for turret

What do your "tool mount junction" (?) CSYS objects look like - are they oriented correctly for each side of the turret?

Re: CSE, tools for turret

YES!!!

I have a same multy-chanel CNC machine, no problem. But now - I cannot to solve a problem. Rebuild few times, not working.

Re: CSE, tools for turret

Ok, Google...

I rebuild from "0" new CSE-model, as example I use sim11_turn_2ax. I DID EXACTLY a same, but....

Here - if I use my model

Here - example from OOTB.

Whats wrong????
I add zip with my project, please, spend few minutes, check it. I DONT UNDERSTAND.

I add a string to machine_database.dat

DATA|doob|MDM0104|example|FANUC|Example|${UGII_CAM_LIBRARY_INSTALLED_MACHINES_DIR}doob\doob.dat|1.000000|${UGII_CAM_LIBRARY_INSTALLED_MACHINES_DIR}doob\graphics\doob

Re: CSE, tools for turret

Do you set the angles inside the pockets of the kinematics model?

Re: CSE, tools for turret

No. I will use no "just turning tool", but - toolholders with inserted tools. And toolholders insert ok.

Re: CSE, tools for turret

Yes, with angle looks right, but how it will work with toolholders?

Re: CSE, tools for turret

Yes, with toolholder oK.

But - why in OOTB example no Working Angle????
