Cavity Mill: How to remove all blank stock?

I need some help on configuring Cavity Mill to cut unwanted stock away. Currently, certain selected geometry is remaining uncut, as well as the tool only cutting around the part periphery and leaving outer blank stock (between the tabs).

Thanks!

Re: Cavity Mill: How to remove all blank stock?

Please explain a bit more about what your input is.

When i see your tool path and rest material, i cannot determine what your exact inputs are.

It seems that your Blank in Cavity Mill is NOT equal to the input material of your tool path verification.

Cavity mill in general only machines where there is blank material available.

At the locations around the part where there is nothing machined is no Blank then, or the part stock is so large that there is nothing to finish.

Can you show a picture of the screen where you pressed the display button of the blank?

Remove the Cut Area and select the Cut levels.

I think because you selected the cut area you didn't get the desired results.

Thanks everyone,

SvenV was correct: because I had selected specific cut area, it was only cutting according to that. I unselected everything but kept cut depths, and now it's cutting the blank stock.

Thanks again!
