Hello All,
When I'm chaining a boundary, a red dotted line appears. What does it mean?
Thanks!

A dashed segment displays a preview of the closed boundary. The Tool Side graphic indicator now displays correctly, outside the closed boundary.

There is a tech tip from when this enhancement was introduced: http://community.plm.automation.siemens.com/t5/Tech-Tips-Knowledge-Base-NX/Enhanced-boundary-creatio...
If you are new to NX, please take the time to go through the first few Manufacturing Tutorials - they are installed on your system.
Also, I am curious why are you using boundaries -- Have you tried floor/wall milling?

That is the way I am being shown. I haven't tried floor/wall milling yet.
Thanks!
