IS something substantial in the works in development for chamfering and deburring of parts? If so what kind of time frame are we looking at? And is this going to be a seperate license...... 20 planar profile cuts really becomes time consuming when doing complex parts.
It is very frusterating as a user to see cam systems 1/4-1/5 of the price of NX with features we can only dream of...
Chamfering, Imbeded HSM techniques, etc.

As a former Delcam user (10 + years ago) I swore I would not use any Delcam product ever again, so it is very odd for me to be looking at it again and thinking, hmm that looks good, wish NX could do that.

We have future plans to develop a chamfering processor but no specific release yet.
There's a SPLM partner you might want to contact. As far as I know they have an API based solution.
