Coordinates for Mazak

hello,

 

Ive never met with this type coordinates.

So how to get these:

-stationary X Y Z.

(X20 Y20 Z0 C... in every move)

...coordinates into XYZ while C is rotating?

mode G43.4.

I dont know how to get there some transformation (of mcs_gotos or mom_poss) there.

Now I only know how to output tcpm / mcs gotos or mom_poss.

 

Some template for fanuc give such coordinates but there was some problem with accuracy. (-0.2?)

 

We have tried to switch F85 par  0/1 but there was no effect.

 

any Idea?

I am guessing you could achieve the same with Lock Axis UDE

Please find attachment and check if it is what you wanted.

F85.2 being changed to zero made mine act the way I want (just did it - set to 1 from Mazak.) Type of coordinate system for controlling the tool tip point 0: The table coordinate system that rotates according to the particular rotation of the C-axis is defined as the programming coordinate system. 1: The work coordinate system is defined as the programming coordinate system

Hi  @Avalon,

 

your attachment - when you delete the ude lock, output is the same.

 

But dont know why machined results has somewhere deviation 0,2 and somewhere is OK.

Vericut shows the same deviation.....

So thats why I want coordinates like classic tcpm (m128,traori) to eliminate problem because tcpm wants mcs goto without any transformation etc.

 

Maybe it is caused by some function?

Maybe operators demand on some strange functions.

Sounds like F85.2 is set to 1. This means that you are programming as if in machine coordinates. So - in a TCP'less way - meaning when you turn the rotary (only) the tool will not try to track a point (move XYZ.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gs5EKfL95WU

@Studyhi,

can you show how set F85 properly? maybe operator set it wrong, wrong bit place. some closer explanation of bits.

The bit that Frobi shows made it work the way I want (as zero.) There are some that prefer the behavior as set as 1. On round parts it makes it easier to move around the part when set to 1. Frobi, I tried the bit that should switch the Mazatrol to G43.4 P1 (fanuc) or Orivect (Siemens) type of action. In my test it didn't seem to work - even did each rotary move individually. Do you have experience with this?
