Custom machine tool simulation w/out .mcf file or postprocessor (pui file)

I have been following the tutorials in this link which were very helpful

http://community.plm.automation.siemens.com/t5/Tech-Tips-Knowledge-Base-NX/Instructions-amp-training...

I already have a working Kinematics model (junctions, axes, etc.) and the machine moves fine in the Machine tool Navigator when I preview the axis for each junction.

How can I simulate this machine w/out a .MCF file or postprocessor file? I only have a .sim and .Afu file.

I'm thinking that I may have to simulate the machine via the Motion Simulation application. I could also use the "Move Assembly Component" function from one CSYS to another CSYS.

Suggestions?

.SIM and .AFU files are not usable with CAM, they seem to be specific to CAE.

You need a CSE driver and a NC file for CAM machine simulation.

Thanks Stefan. I figured that was the case and I appreciate the confirmation.
