Customize the Postprocess Dialog

I have just started to learn how to customize my own post, one thing I have successfully has done is to automatically open the output NC-file with a external editor (In this case Cimco).

But I would like to be able to control if the file should be opened or not with a checkbox inside the postprocess dialog. Just the same way that "List output" works.
Is there a way to and a checkbox to the postprocess dialog?

Thanks! Smiley Happy

I don't think so.

But you could do a couple things (not quite as good, but I know they can be done):

1) Use a TK dialog after posting to ask the user if they want it opened

2) [I think] Use Menuscript and a "ACTIONS/POST" to pop up a dialog with the same question.

Re: Customize the Postprocess Dialog

The dialog cannot be customized.

I would put a UDE on the PROGRAM group, like we do with the operatior message.

Then the post can check that.

Thanks for your help!
I was afraid that it wasn't possible. I think that have a dialog box to come up every time you postprocess can be annoying.

I ended up to control it with a custom UDE Smiley Happy
