Deleting detached stock from IPW

Phenom
Phenom

Hello,

Does anyone have any tricks for removing detached stock from your IPW? I have to create dummy operations to get rid of the stock so that I do not see holder collisions in verify during subsequent operations.

I usually avoid this by trying to make sure everything turns into chips without leaving slugs, but I have some legacy parts that there is no time to reprogram.

I used to use Vericut, and you could simply pick what you wanted to delete or keep.

I see this post below from a few years back discussing the issue, and an ER 6789464

Thanks

Hi Glenn,

in Nx12.0.2, we implemented a preview functionality to automatically achieve this. If you are interested, please drop me a personal message and I will supply information how to activate the functionality.

Best regards.
