We are very interested in your comments and suggestions.
Thanks for attention!
Open source? C++/VB.Net source code available? Safe to run at corporate level?
Will our Cisco firewall be sending an emergency SMS to our head of IT at 04am if I give it a try?
Thanks for quick feedback.
We think about open source - this question in initial stage now.
Writed on C#. It`s my science work, and I`m write code too. If you see video - current version maybe is similar to the FBM in NX, but it`s not FBM. In future I want to connect server logic with FBM functions in NX and do programs more quickly.
Don`t worry about your firewall - the program needs access to the Internet only for sending you solution for machining selected element.
Yes, it`s free. What are you surprised?
I`m very intersted about yours feedback.
Our hq firewall is horror-ible. It block gaming, gambling and porn. All the worthy stuff basically
C# is powerful windows stuff. I'm a noob in nxopen but once wrote my first cool app.It was meant to fully automate a file upload (the active *.prt), without any user intervention, to an online FTP server in a visa-free country that I personally own. Was supposed to upload the file each and every time I run the NXopen DLL in NX. Unfortunately for me it never worked, that silly firewall blocks it every time although it use encapsulated protocol/s.
Using this free csharp class/code: https://www.codeproject.com/tips/443588/simple-csharp-ftp-class
Luck with your app!. ps. your corporate info is missing on your website, or link is broken.
- the program needs access to the Internet only for sending you solution for machining selected element.
Does it mean that your product is working only on-line? Then it is useless for NX stations without Internet access, or when Internet connection is lost
Thank yuo very much for your wishes!
Yes, firewall often block activity with ftp port (21). But we use port 80, and it is more comfortable for users.
Thanks for class, but upload user files - is not true story)))
