Announcing a new contest for our loyal NX for Manufacturing Forum participants!
'Tis the season for giving, and we at the NX for Manufacturing Forum want to do some giving as well. We have fabulous prizes to give away, so we are pleased to launch a story submission contest to get these prizes delivered.
We want to hear about your favorite NX CAM feature. Which function do you find indispensable? Which function saves you the most time while NC programming? While machining? Which function makes you look like a hero to your boss?
Pick your favorite feature and tell us why you love it. Provide plenty of details so we can all appreciate your perspective.
Replying to this post will NOT enter you in the contest! We have a new Contest page type available to us on the the Forum, and you guys will be among the first to try it out. Head over to the "My Favorite Feature in NX CAM" page to check out the contest. You can read other users' stories and vote on them (kudos), or submit your own story and try for a fabulous prize!
Prizes include urBeats in-ear headphones, a Parrot Minidrone, Anker external batteries, and Chromecasts. Cool swag!!
Official contest rules are attached to this post as a PDF file, below!
Our contest is off to a good start, with several great entries already. Remember you have the month of January to submit your stories, telling us about your experience using NX for manufacturing and the difference it makes in the way you work and succeed in your shop.
So get in on the fun and maybe one of the fabulous prizes will be yours!
You can review the entries and give kudos if you like them, too.
Looking forward to a great 2015,
We are starting to get a good collection of entries in our Story submission contest. Remember we'll close the contest at the end of January and award the fabulous prizes, so get your entries in soon.
Since I'm not eligilble to win one, I'm starting to think I need to go out and buy one of those Parrot Drones after telling you all about them - they are cool! All the prizes are pretty cool, in fact. Submit a story and see if you can win one.
All it takes is a description of your favorite NX CAM feature and some background about the difference it makes to you and your productivity. Have fun!
On a side-note, the links to the prices are not entirely correct.
The last one is pointing to the one before and the one before is pointing to the page itself.

I'm still trying to figure out how to designate the entries as winners so they will show up properly on the "winners" tab.
