First time contour milling... looking for basic advice

I need to make this simple die, it's about 4" x 4" on top. The yellow faces are all on one plane, except the center part, so I'd like to do those first with an endmill and then do the contours with a ball end mill. Can you guys recommend what processes to choose for this?

FACE_MILLING_AREA for the flat faces, CONTOUR_AREA for the rest.

I would go through the tutorial for Die Machining, and then High Speed Machining - that should give you the general idea of which operations to select.

They are both found at Menu > Help > Manufacturing Tutorials.
