Hello I have a issue by machining a planar contour.
as you can see even the hole plane of the part is machined. I dont want
that free space is machined. I know I can specify trim boundaries to avoid that, but I want to teach
that operations and trim boundaries cannot be teached.

I saw that you selected the same geometry for the Part and Blank. That can lead to issues in the operations.
Did you try with Cavity Mill? It seams like it is working there like you expect it and you can also use Cavity Mill in FBM.

The blank part is not exactly the same, the depth of the blank part is bigger.
I have tried now with cavity Mill - I would like to machine the face with one pass the
tool Diameter should be big enough to machine that in one pass but it does not do that (same like in your picture)
Do you know how do change that.
By changing the "percent of the Flat Diameter" to the maximum, I get one tool Path.
But the contour is not fully machined although the Tool-Diameter is big enough.
Maybe I can set a offset to change that or something like that ?

But I have the same problem like in cavity milling.
The path should be in the middle like shown in the picture - I can manipulate that with a negativ
blank stock but it changes the path for all sides with the same value and when the value
gets to high not all floors are machined...
In planar mill, you can assign different stock on each boundary member. (edit the boundary, then "edit" again)
Is the same available in this operation type?
