G00 RAPID IN FIRST MOVE

Have a few tweeks to get the post to where I need it the opening motion move has dropped the G00 in the line I went to the motion section of the post in post builder and tried forcing it without results .The line will read like this G90 X1.2 Y2.8 S1200 M03 need the G00 in the line.Secound thing is the G40 posts on a seperate line above the linear retract in the cut would like to move it into the line with the G01 X AND Y movement.   Thanks

G40 - if you dont want it on separete line - remove G40 from - machine control - cutcom off.

 

G00 - better will be to share your postprocessor to see it

Probably it is coming out in an earlier line in the output for that operation, and (as G_motion is modal) the post doesn't think it is needed (as it is already output).

 

A couple possible solutions (pending seeing your post)

- if this is a block in the initial move event (or first move) (or most anywhere in "Program & Toolpath" tab --> "Program" tab, but NOT in "NC Data definitions" -> "Block" tab), you can try toggling the "Force output" switch on the word

a) edit the block

b) right click on the "G00" word -> select the "Force output" option -> word should now have a white block on it (although not the docs for this menu, you can see the white "force" blocks on all the words here: https://docs.plm.automation.siemens.com/tdoc/nx/10/nx_help/#uid:id1456358)

 

- alternately, you can add a "MOM_force once G_motion" just before the line(s) where you need the G00

 

- there's other ways as well.

You have the G00 on the G28 line.  On most machines this is not needed (G28 is a rapid move )  Remove the G00 from that line and see if the post outputs is on the first move.
