It looks that the tool length is not correctly calculated!? Please check at first the calculation without any tool or tool length. compensation. This helps to isolate the problem.

On which position is $TOOL transformation in the transformation stack in Machine Configurator? It should be at the end of the stack. When $TOOL is not displayed please add it and put it on the end of the stack.

When it´s not the tool. Do you have initial values defined in the axis properties?

Sorry but yesterday I could not answer you. 

 

I try to execute the simulation without tool and the result is the same. 

 

These are my transformation (image03.jpg). I add the "$TOOL" trasnformation but I haven´t got changes. 

 

I think tool length compensation is not the problem here.

Thank you very much for your help. 

 

Finally I managed to implement my function to perform the G68.2 successfully just as I needed.

 

I have used the PLANE function of the TNC parser and I edited it to implement the G68.2 like a PLANE SPATIAL TURN.

 

It works like i expected for Head-Head machine and for Table-Table machine.

thanks for your feedback and great to hear that you could finish successully your project! 

 

To look into the PLANE implementation is just the right approach. In general it doesn´t matter if its a cycle800, G68.2/G53.1 or PLANE SPATIAl. The cse core functions behind and their use is always the same.

 

I will prepare some training data this and next year which adresses exactly this topic and I will publish it as TechTip here in the forum.
