Re: HOLDER DEFİNİTİON

In the NX Tool, each different assembly is a unique holder as far as defining the steps. When you retrieve a holder form the library, it replaces the current holder on the tool.

In Tool Management like MRL, the components are separate and can be assembled to create the different holder definitions in NX.

MRL is a bunch of separate licenses and it needs Teamcenter to be installed.

This would be a great enhancement request

The ability to define make tool holders "assemblies"

So we can model our holder and our extensions and change them on the fly. Right now I probably have 50 different holders

1/8 ext z-1.0 3/8 hydraulic

1/8 ext z-1.25 3/8 hydraulic

1/8 ext z-1.50 3/8 hydraulic

1/8 ext z-1.750 3/8 hydraulic

etc

etc
