In NX9 we added the ability to control the setting of these individually.

Uncheck the box for them in the "Edit Machining Data Libraries" dialog.

For each entry in the database, you can specify whether each of these is set or not.

If you manually maintain your database, a value of -1 tells the system not to change the value already in the operation.

Thank you for the response. We are currently using NX7.5 and waiting patiently for NX8.5.
A value of -1 in the database yields -1 in the operation dialogue with NX7.5. We are still learning how to navigate in the database. I will try to be more precise with any following correspondance. Thank you again.

You're welcome!
You don't need to try -1 in 7.5 - the enhancement to omit setting some was in NX 9.
Prior to that set maching data is all or nothing.

Sorry about the delay in responding. If I may ask another question... Is it possible to omit the stepover and cut depth using TCL code in NX8.5?

Re: In NX9 we added the ability to control the setting of the...

No - this is not part of the tcl. It was an NX 9 enhancement.
