What would be the purpose of a feed plane, since I never heard of it?

You can specify surface speed, if you mean that.

I would like to have the cutter move in feed from an specified incremental value.

eg. if the depth of cut is 10mm then if i specify feed plane in increment 1mm then the cutter should move in feed from 9mm, in next depth from 19mm and so on. but when retracting must go directly to the clearance plane.

Inside of the operation select "non-cutting moves" => select engage => hover over the word height and keep the mouse pointer still to see the tool tip image => this is the length of the vertical cutting feed move.

I would spend some time to get familiar with that dialog Smiley Wink

Reading your post once more, you might just want to control the transfer move.

To get the tool tip images, you need to enable a customer default, which should be enabled by default.
