How to use Machining data to input cutting parameter?

I have created a machining data with some tools (tool material, tool parameter, part material, cutting method). But I don't know how to use it. I have watched a video on youtube, after choose a tool, cutting parameter will be input automatically (depth per cut, step over, feed and speed). How to do that? Thanks so much!

Re: How to use Machining data to input cutting parameter?

There is a preference and a customer default to activate automatic setting of machining parameters.

In addition you can use the ONT context menu entry "object => set machining data" to do it manually.

In the feeds and speeds dialog, or from the Operation Navigator, Set Machining Data.
