IPR catch warning

Good Afternoon,

I am trying to output an IPR feedrate from inside a MOM_drill_move event.

Inside the dialogue in NX it is set to IPR but in the posted output it states IPM - G94.

The post uses the variable mom_cycle_feed_rate_mode to generate the output.

If its "IPM" then G94, if "IPR" then G95.

In the review tool there is no mom_cycle_feed_rate_mode variable inside the MOM_drill_move event!

However, there is a MOM_catch_warning event prior which states mom_cycle_feed_rate_mode = IPR. This is correct.

Why isnt this being picked up in the next event?

I have added a PMD command block to the Drill Move Event to output the value of this variable but its saying IPM when posted???

Does the MOM_catch_warning inhibit this??

The warning itself states that the feedrate limit is violated. I've tried this right down at 50rpm, 0.001 per rev. Still no luck.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Craig.

Note drill cycles can have the feedrate mode (and value) come thru from whatever you program in NX

In postbuilder,

"Program & toolpath" tab -> "program" tab -> click on "Machine control" (in the list at the left)

Scroll the right part of the dialog down until you see "Feedrates" item - Click on "Feedrates"

Scroll down and somewhere will be the option "Cycle Feed rate Mode" - set to "auto"

So if you program IPM in NX operation, you get G94

If you program IPR in the operation, you get G95
