MCS FIXTURE OFFSET

Pioneer

In our program we use 6 different MCS fixture offset ;

from G54.1P1 to G54.1P6 but when we post it , output is like this from from G54 to G59 ,

How can i change G54 to G54.1P1 in postbuilder...

You will have to change the word G_offset to have a leader of "G54.1 P" and $mom_fixture_offset_value - 53 if offsets are entered in cam as 54 etc.

Re: MCS FIXTURE OFFSET

To make your fixture offsets more portable across machines, I would recommend using 1-6 in the MCS fixture offsets. Then in the post you can use "$mom_fixture_offset_value" or "$mom_fixture_offset_value +53", depending on how they are numbered on the control.

I second Mark's suggestion to start at 1 and work up.

Note with appropriate tcl code, you can support all sorts of ranges using the "1 thru n" scheme

- Okumas G15 Hn (n = 1 thru whatever)

- Fanucish "G54-G59" + "G541. Pn"

- Siemens (I forget exactly, but something like) "G54-G56" then "G503 thru ..."

We have done this as standard as well (1 based) since we have about every control and setup.
