MCS has to be clicked to update assoiative position

Experimenter
Experimenter

Iam using "Z-axis, Y-Axis and origin" as method to position the MCS. The Y-axis uses "2 Points" to find its correct position. When updating the model, the Y-axis position doesnt change immediatly. It has to be clicked in the "Geometry viewer" to be updated to the new position. After being clicked, it finds the correct position. Is it possible to have the MCS automatically update its orientation without needing to click it?

Iam using

NX 11.0.0.33 MP4

The display of the MCS is only updated on demand, its display doesn't update instantly like the WCS.

This is the case for all CAM objects, so you will have to create an enhancement request at GTAC for an instant update.

In addition, which of the many possible MCS objects would you like to have the display updated automatically?

Which to highlight automatically?

In this order

The parent MCS of any CAM feature selected.

The first MAIN MCS found in the Geometry tree or the First MCS in the tree.  For us it is the same thing.  (this would be the one when the part opens.)

Having the MCS hanging somewhere in space when opening CAM parts is confusing.   Just spent an hour with a user going over this very point.

I agree  - either the MCS of a selected object, or the first MCS found.

It is **BAFFLING** to users when they open a part and the MCS displayed DOES NOT CORRESPOND TO *ANY* MCS IN THE PART!!!!!!!!

@ohjert there needs to be an enhancement request created at GTAC. When you get an ER number, post the number and the text of the ER here and we can request to get linked to it to increase the customer count.
