This is an existing MTSK for a DMG/Mori NT6600 Siemens 840D Controler:

 

Issue: During Machine Code Simulation the tool path is shifted +Z XXX.XX when in the ONT Program Order View from a Top Level Group. When simulating from the SUB group the simulation is Correct. The posted code is the same values for each. 

 

Any Ideals where to look for this issue? I did not test the work offset values in CSE. The main issue is in the ONT why its different from a SUB group or TOP Level.

Hi Bruce,

are you really sure that the NC Code is identically? It sounds like that there are some differences. Maybe the order of commands? Please also check the offsets (tool, work offset) within the system variables ($P_UIFR, getL/Q/ZCorrection, etc. )

Hello Bruce,

 

I would double Thomas assumption. Please check the data of the offsets G54 etc.

Usually they get sourced through an ini file $P_UIFR....

And if that file gets created by an post extension this might be producing different results dependent on what you select in the ONT.

Thankyou Thomas F. Your correct as I checked the Z-componet $P_UIFR[1,Z,TR] and it was not the same for each test Main program group or Operation by itself. So I have a look at the to_ini file:
