Macro for postprocessing and not block NX?

Hi all,

Is there any possibility to create a macro, for postprocessing on NX and not block it, when it is postprocessing? Actually, I am using other postprocessor system, that you generate a CLSF file from NX CAM and you postprocess externally, so the NX is not blocked and you can work.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Macro for postprocessing and not block NX?

There is the ability to batch process, but that will close the involved part file in NX.

You could use the RunUgPost batch script to post externally too.

BTW, I would not use a macro, since that is not update save and needs to be recreated with every change to a dialog in a MP, MR or major release.

The more convenient way is to use a journal, which is more update save and might only need a change with a major release change.

I am not sure I understand your question.

You can start a third party post outside of NX.

Are you trying to generate the CLSF in the background?
