Milling "closed" groove in side wall

Experimenter
Experimenter

Hi,

I have been reading and seeking alot of help on this forum, but this is my first post.

I have run into trouble when trying to cut a simple groove in the side of a block with a slot cutter, I am not able to find an operation that works. I have tried the "Groove Milling" operation but that only seems to work when the groove runs thoughout the completer side of the wall. If I try to select the modeled groove I only get an error message telling me that a groove feature can not be derived from the selected geometry.

If there's anyone out there can give me any pointers in the right direction it would be highly appreciated.

Best regards,

Gustav

You could use floor-wall milling, since that supports undercut milling with t-cutters.
