merge your 2 operations in program > generate the cls into a working directory of your choice (edit the clsf with Notepad delete the first "END OF PATH" and the 2nd "TOOL PATH/")> menu > tool > import clsf > replay toolpath
Sorry it's not possible in a associative way
Production: NX220.127.116.11,VERICUT 8.1.2
Development: Tcl/Tk, Gnuplot
We currently are in development with a Merge toolpath project.
Please feel free to contact @Eddy_Finaro if you are interested in testing this functionality.
Alexander is right. Starting at NX1847 (major release next to NX12) you will be able to select two or more operations and merge them into one special program group somehow like Optimized_NC in Hole Making. it will support several merging rules i.e.
(this solution is of course associative and can be used as part of your templates..)
It is available in the EAP versions if someone is interested in trying it out and report back feedback.
@Vora - does this seem to address your initial request?
I am also interested in this functionality. Is it possible for you to provide detailed instructions? I am currently working with FCA milling groups evaluating NX1847 functionality and this is something they indicated they need.
you do not need a special teplate. it is part of the OOTB instalation. create a new Program Group, select and type - mill_multi-axis or mill_mult-Blade and select the (new) Merge path option:
also - documentation should be part of the instalation. if you have questions - please let me know.
