Which release are you using?

NX 10.0.3 MP2 has this problem to resolve it install at least NX 10.0.3 MP3, which has this issue resolved, since MP2 was revoked.

Can you start a new session and reproduce this issue?

If you can, could you attach the syslog to a reply?

Hi, syslog as attachment,

meanwhile, I have found out the reason how this error made, the file is quite old, created in NX 4, then reused in NX7.5 and now NX10.

Now I deleted all operations form some PROGRAM (group of operations), still everything was ok, but when I deleted the PROGRAM and I tried to restart CAM enviroment, the message box appeared: No such parent,

I would try part cleanup as next step:

  1. open a fresh NX session
  2. open the part file and make sure it does stay in gateway
  3. run part cleanup with cleaning of CAM objects twice
  4. save the part
  5. close the NX session
  6. open a fresh NX session
  7. open the part and check if the problem still persists

If that doesn't help you could use %UGII_ROOT_DIR%\refile_part.exe with the -cleanup switch.

"refile_part.exe -h" gives you the full explanation of all switches.

Hi,

I have tried both methods with no results, do you suggest any other switches besides -cleanup with refile_part.exe options,

-cleanup is the one that performs the right action, you might want -o to save to another file, but that shouldn't make any difference.

The fact that the file is from NX 4 should make no difference, as long as it was saved in a released version.

I don't know if the message is about a missing parent group in the operation navigator, or some internal reference. If would be best to log a call and submit your part to GTAC, where they can diagnose the problem.
