Have you checked the CAM tutorials shipping with NX ?

Have you checked the samples at "%UGII_BASE_DIR%\MACH\samples" ?

From my experience as a customer, it is best to request a sample part from the customer the demo is done for and use that for the demo.

So the operations which comes under mill contour are used for 3 axis right?

Yes, that's right, this covers 3-axis level-based machining and fixed axis surface contouring.

You can check out the CAM tutorials from within NX manufacturing through the button shown below.CAM_Tutorials.PNGCAM Tutorials

This will open the initial page in the NX internal browser window of the resource bar. I would think the die and high speed machining are the ones that are most appropriate in your situation.

If you use the sample part file "cam_sample_mill_contour" and its setup part, you should be able to create a simple demo of machining a part from blank to finished Smiley Wink

Make sure to use rough step sizes to reduce calculation time depending on your demo machine.

In addition I would also show them floor wall, which is now a good way for roughing.

If you still got time, you should also give adaptive milling a go, but you should mention that this is the initial phase and that there is more to come through the NX 12 release cycle.
