NX CMM: What determines how U and V are clocked on the part?

as the title states, what determines how U and V are clocked on the part?

 

is there any way to manipulate the orientation of U and V so that it matches the PCS?

The U and V of each feature/face is controlled by the individual face its self. There is currently no way to control the alignment. I  would be interested in understanding your use case.

i'm trying to get the ability to move points around consistently.

 

if u and v are aligned to my CS axis, then whenever i edit the points of a feature i know where they will move to instead of randomly pluggin in different numbers in order to achieve an ideal feature set.
