NX drilling clearance plane/ offset ...

Hi, It might be very simple ... What I am trying to do is .. Drilling a part and I would like to actually start the drilling sequence with proper feed and speed let say 2 inches above the part top surface... because in some cases there will ba another part fixed with. so how can I offset the clearance plane or top surface to get the drilling to start ealier

The drilling (hole making) operations have a "top offset" cutting parameter, which can be used for this.

The clearance plane must be manually changed in the non-cutting-moves section to reflect this.
