Re: NX11_MCS

One of them is created by holemaking template.

When you do group features - there  I see diference.

With mcs where is tool axis option omited, it finds all holes, but group only Zm+ holes.

In mcs where tool  axis option is - it groups holes in any direction.

But I am not sure about real purpose.

You can customize the dialog and add tool axis option.

Tool Axis

Lets you specify a tool axis for this geometry group.

The tool axis specified here is inherited by fixed axis operations when you select Specify Vector from the Axis list in the main operation dialog box.

Note: The All Axes option is used only to determine feature based machining accessibility vectors.

Re: NX11_MCS

I tested it and tool axis vector in floor and wall is not inhereited when you select specify vector.

It pointing up , Zm.

Correct behaviour?

Re: NX11_MCS

You can customize the MCS dialog in the same way as the operation dialogs. In some templates the tool axis is omitted from the MCS dialog, but it is easy to add it in through RMB => Object => Customize.
