OUTPUT CSLF FILE NAME TO NC PROGRAM NAME

Pioneer
Pioneer

Hello again,

What a great forum.

I would like to find a setting if it exist to change the CSLF out file name to that of the NC PROGRAM name I want to output.2017-10-28_10-55-29.png

Currently it always outputs the NX File name as default until I change it.

I have several programs in the same NX file. I highlight the program to output and want to have that program name as the file name I output. Already there.

Hi,

Directly you can't ,It depends on what you have select on the ont.

I know this solution:

Tcl :

Rename your program at the end :

file rename ...

Help tcl : File tcl tk

I'am not familiar , but a journal (Vb,C#,...) may be a solution :

Some help (vb) :

-Select your program  , look this way : ugopen\Sample....\vb.net\...OntSelection.vb

  -Select directory : system.windows.forms.folderbrowserdialog

    -run :Outputclsf

Take a look at this topic :

Here's a vb journal that does just that.

You can select multiple groups, to get multiple CLS file's

They are stored in the workpart folder in a sub folder CLS

You might also read about library output - it's a keyword in the configuration .dat file.

Probably the easiest thing for you is to use the journal option.

As the CLS output is done thru tcl & def files that are *similar* to the equivalent post files (just without the PUI) you could also copy one of the existing definitions & manually edit the tcl (use MOM_start_of_group / MOM_end_of_group, IIRC)
