I dont know what CDC is. Doesnt matter.

What variable do you want to find? For the D or for its value?

How do you search variables?

But if you get the output of D by default - it exists ofcourse.

What about looking into D address or do debugging.

Anyway, if variable doesnt exist in the moment when you want - it doesnt exist. end.

if you want CDC=D instead of D  just rewrite the D to CDC=D etc..

I ran the debug and the line for the d number reads Address D=04 cdc is the cutter compensation the D represents the offset being used

1. so adjust it in postprocessor, rewrite D to CDC=D in D address/word.

2.debugging  I mean to find variable - debugging creates  3 extra files with variables, MOMs etc.

Where you can find variable with value 04.

Also you can see it in D address expression.

And then you can use it in new address or output literal with format.

Im still  new to tcl when I ran the debug and selected the line that the D number outputted on it read Address D=04. I didnt see a mom variable unless im doing it wrong I looked at the variable list and did see mom_cutcom_adjust_register was thinking this might be the variable but not sure.I tried an output literal for this too see what would post but nothing posted out.Sorry if I dont follow what your saying like i said its new to me Im going to take a class but the next one in my area isnt till March

D address with variable mom_cutcom_adjust_register is outputed or exists only when you have cutcom turned ON in the operation.

Also you have to turn on this check blocks:

Snímka.JPG

Then you will get :

N0030 T02 M06
N0040 G00 G90 X-74.559 Y57.918 S650 M03
N0050 G43 Z86. H05
N0060 Z68.
N0070 G01 Z65. F250. M08
N0080 G41 X-90. Y55.417 D06
N0090 Y40.417
N0100 Y37.417

*Notice that D address is modal and also optional in the block (means if doesnt exists doesnt give error)

Bez názvu.jpg

*Notice I have D in rapid move too and as you see above there is no D - because in that moment variable doesnt exist.

If you want make CDC=D from D - just rewrite it - edit address:

Snímkd.JPG

BUT if you want to have it on the beginning of the program - it is immposible with this variable- it doesnt exist so soon.

You have to find other variable which carries value you entered in the tool and exists sooner.

If you were browse the debug files - 3 text files, you can find for example : mom_tool_cutcom_register

And it represents number entered in the tool as cutcom register.

Or if your cutcom numer can amtch with the tool number- you can use it.
