Looking to create a 5 axis post for machine with dual head rotry set up.
Looking for some "help" and/or documentation...
Did not see anything helpful within Postbuilder 9.0.1 or in NX9's documentation...
Created many table table set ups, and somewhat used to basic Postbuilder.
But, previously was able to get through any questions and hurdles with quick looks into help on context.
Latest help pages are a fraction of what I used to find.
Where did the help go? ? ?
Anyone know where to find any basic / generic info on the rotary configuration?
Like I mentioned, I have set up quite a few table table posts, but wanting to ensure the right offsets and "pivot" values without having to trial and error my way through each step.
APPRECIATE the help !!
Solved! Go to Solution.
There are post files in the library folder which are a great starting point!
The posts that the simulation uses! One of them is setup with head/head config.
It it is actually a "sewing machine" set up...
Janome is the builder, has a camera mounted for inspection.
Just need to get the offsets in their correct places.
I had not thought of using example out of the library but thinking that would be just what I need.
Will take a look.
The display machine tool has been a help in the past.
Having the offsets show in their respective places helped tell me if I was set up correctly.
Did not see them appear in the head/head graphics, so has me wondering.
Will know lots more when we trial things, but hoping to take some guess work out ahead of time.
where exactly has the library went??
Admitedly it has been a while since I visitted.
My old shortcut
shows filters by software then full downloads or product updates.
Looked into NX, but not sure where to find the PostBuilder posts...
Appreciate and directions I might be able to get.
When in CAM
Help -> Online technical Support -> Download NC Postprocessor
Production: NX10.0.3.5 MP16/TC11.2
I'd rather be e-steamed than e-diseaseled
